Dr. Mark Schambra

Dr. Mark Schambra is a caring periodontist that takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens so he can best understand your particular needs, and then strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using his skilled training in periodontics and dental implant technology.

Dr. Schambra graduated from Rutgers College in Biology 1978. He then earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1982 and his post-graduate certificate in periodontics from NYU College of Dentistry in 1987.

Dr. Schambra is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Middlesex County Dental Society, the New Jersey Society of Periodontists and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Schambra serves on the Executive Board of the Middlesex County Dental Society and is a past president of MCDS.

Dr. Schambra has over 25 years of teaching experience as an attending staff periodontist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Department of Dentistry and is the chairman of the Department of Periodontics at RWJUH.

Dr. Robert Ashmen

Dr. Robert Ashmen has a passion for excellence that drives him to provide gentle, patient-focused care at the highest standard of quality. He is high-skilled in periodontics and can be trusted to delivering outstanding results.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Biology in 1992, Dr. Ashmen went on to extend his education receiving his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and his post-graduate certificate in periodontics from Rutgers University College of Dentistry in 1999.

Dr. Ashmen is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Middlesex County Dental Society and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Ashmen serves on the Executive Board of the Middlesex County Dental Society and is a past president of MCDS.

Dr. Ashmen has over 15 years of teaching experience as an attending staff periodontist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Department of Dentistry.
